COMMENTS: | Absorption measurements with a Perkin-Elmer spectrophotometer able to measure absorption coefficients k as low as 10-4 cm-1 (~4×10-24 cm2 molecule-1)
For CH4 no absorption could be detected; thus the absorption coefficients is less than 10-4 cm-1, and the absorption cross sections are only upper limits for the entire range investigated |
